About SWEACC

Established in 2010

The Swedish–East African Chamber of Commerce was established in November 2010 as the first Swedish chamber of commerce dedicated to exploring business prospects in Africa, particularly within the East African Community.

Our objectives are to serve as a networking hub for business professionals and to organise seminars offering insights into the region’s economy and private sector. The Chamber also provides a platform for embassies and distinguished visitors to meet the Swedish and diaspora business communities.

What we do

• Networking events, seminars, conferences and business lunches.
• Trade missions connecting Swedish companies with East African markets.
• Market research and consulting to support successful business strategies.
• Advocacy for our members in Sweden and East Africa.

Members and partnerships

Our members span healthcare, ICT, energy, manufacturing and other industries, bringing together individuals, businesses and organisations from the public and private sectors.

SWEACC has built relationships with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Sida, Business Sweden and regional chambers of commerce in Sweden and East Africa.
